Oneanta Falls

Yesterday we hiked up to this waterfall in the Columbia Gorge. We didn't think we'd get as wet as we did. The water was well over my waist and Abby had to use her mad doggy paddling skills. Not to mention we climbed over a ton of fallen tree trunks. Good thing I was with my trusty climbing guide Benny.

Lincoln City

We went to Lincoln City for the weekend and thought it was going to be nice and warm. But since it was so hot in the city the marine layer didn't burn off so we pretty much just saw fog. Ben didn't surf but tried to gain 10 pounds of water weight, plus it was too chilly to lay on the beach and tan soooooo of course he twisted my arm and we headed straight for the outlets! Yes! We did however fly our cool kite and Ben started to dig to China....I think he wanted to go to the Olympics.

Berry Picking...yum yum

We drove to Oregon City on Saturday and went berry picking. Oh so yummy! We picked blueberries, raspberries and marionberries. It was so much fun. I think Ben and I ate just as many berries and we picked. I took them all home and froze a bunch which was like ten bags full! Them we made smoothies.......um hello sooo good!

Ahhhh Camping

Ok we have given in and started a blog.......lets see how well this goes. hahahah :)

Ben, Abby and I went camping this past weekend to get out of the city and hopefully cool off...but our luck it was just as hot at the campground as our house. We went and hung out all day at the water relaxing and watching all the boats go by.......gee whiz have we retired....hahahaha Anyway it was fun. I thought I'd make this awesome breakfast afterall camping breakfast is sooooo good. Well I forgot all the ingredients except the turkey bacon. Oh well at least that was good. On the way home we hiked up to Beacon Rock. Very cool! But not for those scared of heights.
